In-Person or Virtual 5k Run/Walk

In-Person

Runners need to check in by 8:30 prior to the race. The race will start at 9 am at corner of Montgomery and Chestnut Streets, for the September 4th, 5k.

A virtual option due to Covid-19

After registration, choose your own course for the run/walk as long as it's at least 3.1 miles. For the September run/walk, it must be completed between Sept. 1 to Sept. 10, 2021.

During your run/walk you will need to use either a cell phone app (like Starva or Nike Fitness, etc.) or GPS setting (Garmin, Fitbit) that will display the distance you traveled so as to verify you completed the mileage.

You can either take a screenshot or selfie of your completion screen and email it to growgillespie@gmail.com. After we've verified your run/walk, you can pick up your t-shirt, and medal ribbon, between Sept. 14 to Sept. 19 at Michelle's Pharmacy.
